This one has been sitting around waiting for me to color it for months. I drew it with reference but by hand, because I felt the sudden urge to draw a bishounen. My art style is almost delicate enough to treat the subject matter properly, now, though my research into various professional artists' styles did not seem to provide a whole lot of immediate help. I've come to the conclusion that I just don't know how artists like Chouniku and Siro get such clean shading. However, I am still somewhat satisfied with the way this Natsume picture came out. The show (Natsume Yuujinchou) is, by the way, really good. It's exciting, uplifting, and relaxing as it wants to be, and it has generally very good art. Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou is not quite as good, but still quite enjoyable and where the first season aired in summer and had a delightful summer aesthetic, Zoku Natsume aired in winter and is decidedly wintry, which is a neat little trick.
